St. Peter’s Church

Jun 20, 2020

Church Re-opening.

St. Peter’s church is to re-open in line with the Government’s easing of lockdown restrictions. The church will be open for private prayer w.e.f. Monday, 22nd June. Anyone wishing to use the church for private prayer is welcome to enter the church, sit quietly and reflect as required.

Hand sanitizers will be available at the entrance and exit. There will be a one-way system through the church to the Lady Chapel where parishioners can pray and reflect.

Church doors will be left open so people don’t have to use the door handles. All surfaces will be wiped down between visitors.

The church will not look the same as usual with taped off areas. In addition there will be no means of lighting candles but the welcome will be as warm as ever.

This initiative is seen as a first step in the eventual return to normality and opening for worship.

OPENING TIMES - Monday’s to Saturdays.

11.00 a.m to 12 noon.

2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Everyone who visits the church is asked to be respectful of people who are praying, even if here is a wait to enter the Chapel.
